How true when we moved into our home and couldn't afford landscape borders or
curtain rods. After a gander through the yard I got the tools sharpened and
lubed and went after some bamboo growing around the fence line. The tools
haven't rested much since.
My Sis-In-Law and Wife asked that I make a
cigar case from bamboo for my Brother-In-Law. The next morning
yielded a beautiful cigar case and a lipstick case to
boot.
Prompted by them to continue on with my alleged skill, I
crafted some more items and found a sincere interest from most who saw what I
made.
Facing a huge economic impossibility with needing extensive health treatment, we made bamboo our means to my health.While this is a slow road and taxing on my health, it is
one I enjoy and allows me to earn my strength
back.
Truly worthwhile, a calling, my
pleasure.
